DIY Tomato Cages

Hi Dolls,
Welcome Back!!

We started our garden last year and it was quite a learning experience. With the new season we did things a little diffirent.  We extended our garden, We laid down plastic to lock moisture and keep the weeds out, which to my surprise actually works well. I believe I even heard my hubby tell me "I told you so"!! lol. So many tiny but effective changes to make our garden better, but one of the problems we have is keeping the critters and bugs away which I got to admit we have not figured it out yet, but up for any suggestion. We planted tomatoes again this year and last year we had brought from walmart and Meijers those tomato cages which after a week they broke and didn't hold up our tomatoes, so you can imagine how upsetting it was after spending the money on these tomato cages, now granted it wasn't a lot but the fact was it was still a waste, This now brings me to my little DIY.
I'm going to show you all how to make your own tomato cages with just a few supplies,
Who doesn't love the sound of that? So lets begin.

Things your gonna need are

~3 Ft X 50 Ft Full 14 Gauge Welded Wire Fencing
~Wire Cutters
~Needle nose (Optional )

Take your wire fencing, which can be found at Home Depot for about $24 dollars  and pull as much as you need to fit  your Tomato plants.

Now let it fold on itself. The wiring naturally wants to go in a circle so it's very easy to do.

Take your Wire Cutters and cut right at where the horizontal and vertical wires meet while the wire is in a circle. You may have to move the wire circle aside so you can can get a nice cut.

Next you want to form a circle and line up edge so that it will close nicely.

Next you want to fold the little extra wire that's attached to your circle a few times to close the circle.
This is where you may need to use your needle nose.

Place the cage around your tomato plants very carefully and  now do that to the rest of your tomato plants and there you have it.

Well what ya think Pretty easy right. I have to tell you we have not yet had any problem wahoo!!
That's it dolls hope you find this helpful. What do you do to Keep The Critters and bugs off your Plants ??  I just have to know.  Like What you See, Then Don't Forget to Like, Comment & Follow Me

Simple Steps To Set Up A Welcome Table For Guests

 Hi Dolls,

We all have guest at some point in time.
As the hostess It Is our job to make them feel like they are welcome. Now for some this might be easy and for others It might not be your thing,
But with these simple steps you can make your guest feel right at home, at least for the time being.

Start out with a lil research to find out what your guest likes and make sure you know what there allergic to, cause trust me you don't want that stress.

Now find A spot In the room your guest is staying in, once you have it you are ready to begin.

Find A table
now It can be any table
like an end table, Coffee table, or just a small table.
If you don't want to use or have the room for a table
you could use a basket or tray
so there are tons of options for you to use.

Find A pretty table covering
this can be a real pretty sheet, A piece of fabric
or a table cloth or you could just go plan.

Flowers are the perfect way to greet your guest.
It gives the room a fresh sweet homey feel.
the flowers can be fresh cut or brought at a store.
keep in mind your guest maybe allergic to certain scents.

Now welcome your guest
with a sign or A card.
Show them that you are glad for there visit.

Last find out what type of food, candy, or
special kinds of goodies they like.
By doing this it will show
them that you went out of your way to make
them feel At home.

Once you have all of these things
you can start setting up your table.

Now remember you can add your own touches
to make it your own.

There you have it. I hope this helps spark some ideas for your house guest.
What are some of  the things you do for your guest ?? This gal would love to know

DIY- Treat Bag into Flat Bag

Hi Dolls,
Welcome Back!!!

Do you Have a bunch of those treat Bags laying around Like I do?
OK fess up cause I know you do lol.
I found a way to reuse them in a different way
just by changing there shape, how cool is that right!

Now instead of having those awful gusset on the sides that take up space
it will have a bit more space for other smaller items like books, Cd's,phones, gifts
and more.
Ok enough of me blabbing
here how its done.

Supplies Needed
Scissors
Any Treat Bag
Double sided sticky tape
and a Bone Folder

Directions

1) Take the treat bag and cut the seam off the bottom of the bag.

2) Where the gusset is there is a line down the center
fold the center line in half and give it a good Crease.

3) Now at the bottom of the bag fold just a Lil up and give it a good Crease.

4) The line you just folded take the corner on both sides and fold them to that line
and give them a crease.

5) Take your scissors and cut off the corners.

 6) At the bottom there will be 2 flaps so take the first flap and cut that off.

7) Take your tape and run a strip at the bottom edge of the remains flap.

8) Now fold that flap up and crease very well

Well There you have it Dolls,
and just because I love you Guys
